The Morgan's Raid project was a two semester-long affair, pitting thirty-some undergraduate computer science students against the task of developing an educational game regarding the only action that occurred on Indiana soil during the American Civil War. The game was aimed at 4th grade students and won th
e Indiana Historical Society's 2011 Outstanding Project of the Year.
The game was built using the Slick2D game engine, Java, Scrum, and a lot of prototyping and research. The project also excited me about my field and helped motivate me to finish my degree.
To play the game, check out the Morgan's Raid page.
